I hope you’re taking some time to find happiness in all this cold! Dallas has been cold this month, but I have to admit, the snow was pretty. And it was a good excuse to stay home, fix some tea, get caught up on some social media happenings and reflect on upcoming events.
We’re excited about the inaugural Dallas Festival of Ideas this Friday night and Saturday in the Dallas Arts District. The festival will bring together thought leaders from a wide variety of disciplines to help focus the power of ideas on shaping Dallas’ future. Exciting stuff. Our own Rebecca Wilson and Emily Mantooth will be there to check it all out and share on social media.
And the Dallas Startup Weeks kicks off on Monday, March 2nd and runs through March 6th. It is a celebration of the vibrant and growing world of startups right here in the Dallas area. It’s a new type of conference whose goal is to build momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship. They have an exciting lineup for events all week. Tickets are still available here.
We are super proud of our new client, Dallas Caramel Company. Dallas Caramel’s creations were just featured in the SideDish section of DMagazine. Congratulations, Rain McDermott! Rain is the sweet genius behind this local artisan food startup. If you have a sweet tooth, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried a Dallas Caramel Co. Armadillo or flavored caramels. Trust us when we say they’re good, oh so very good.
There are a few new blogs on our site. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to check them out.
